I don't have to. I have numbers and data on my side. Numbers do not lie:

What's going on in Texas that makes it so popular these days? Did Florida finally fall off the map?

Hopefully by now you're getting into the spirit of British Expats and the friendly banter and off-kilter humour that goes on here.

Cliff - don't worry. It's not abusive to start new threads at all, in fact it's quite welcome despite the chastisement you might get from certain moderators for putting it in the wrong place.

Hiya Cliff
Lots of expats move from the UK to Texas. Houston seems particularly popular at the moment (except with tonrob!). Houston is a nice place. Friendly, lots to do etc. You need to be able to drive to get around. You also need to be able to put up with the heat and humidity.
Any idea where in texas you are thinking of? Then someone might be able to help you more.
