That's a lovely property and I too envy your pond. I had a very small pond back in the UK, that although small, it gave me hours of fun.

I can relate about living it large here. I could never have dreamed of owning my property (or equivalent) in the south of England (London and then Reading). I still marvel at all the extras that I have as standard here, my remote opening garage door is just the bees knees!!

It looks beautiful, living in Houston I forget that beautiful places like this exist, don't get me wrong I love our house and we live in a nice neighborhood, but your place is what I dream of

Just another 3.5 years until the dude goes to college and I go house hunting!

Congratulations, it looks lovely. I'm very envious, I hate renting, but where I am house prices start around the $1m mark. It's going to be a very long time until we're home owners on this side of the pond. Sigh

I could have got a 1 bedroom flat in a scummy part of town for another GBP 17,000 on top of what I paid for this 1 acre property with own pond

Typing this as I sit looking out over MY pond, fall coloured trees in the background and totally happy I made the move
Very nice, congratulations!! Although wouldn't want to have to rake all those leaves!

Great looking house & yard, I'd love to rake up those leaves for you , I also love the automatic garage doors, they seem standard over here , only thing is if there's a power outage they won't open or close until it comes back on, they can be worked manual from the inside if you have a side door entry as well.

You mean Great Hollands LOL. I swapped sunny Bracknell for California about 7 months ago.

Looks super nice!

I couldn't image living without trees. A 5 or 8 horse blower on wheels'll take care of those leaves toot sweet. Do you have street leaf pickup?
