Listen to Jerseygirl. She is wise.
They aren't so good if you are moving about too much though as you move through the fog too much. We have tried spraying the bushes today so they have nowhere to hide.

Last year my town council gave out blue tablets to drop into all drains and manholes etc. where water can stagnate. It made a huge difference to the mozzie population. This year we can still get them but we have to buy them now. I'm lucky anyway. They don't like me.

Me too. My back is covered in bug bits from a month ago...I went out without my Lentek device.
I say this every time someone opens one of these threads...why would you put stuff on your skin that melts plastic? Besides that I find if I miss a tiny little bit of skin with the spray/lotion...the bugs find it and get me there.

I happen to be on a business trip to NY and FL at the moment; got bitten on my face the first day in NY. I felt positively miserable in FL today; it was 'only' 85, but the humidity made it worse than the 100 back in Scottsdale ...

You are getting mossies in Phoenix? I've been here over 3 years now, and I think I've had ONE mossie encounter; one of the delights of the desert climate.

Using Cutters Deet Woods stuff and also their low deet family soft version, working really well, much better than the Deet Off stuff.
For kids, Berts, works well, but not for nearly as long, but much better if they're still in finger sucking stages.
