My wife came over on a K-1 visa and we are preparing paperwork for the AOS filing in Houston, Texas. I have looked around here and read that her last doctor's appointment (in Toronto) *might* be enough (the sealed, brown envelope) - but in the Adjustment of Status package I downloaded off the INS site, there are multiple medical examination forms with no real explanation. What gives? Do you know for sure one way or the other if the last medical exam will be enough? I cannot contact Houston - I waited for 25 minutes to speak with a national agent who would not give me Houston's phone number so that I could ask and the number on the Houston's site is only for adoptions and orphans.

Any help - as always - is greatly appreciated. I can also add that this is VERY frustrating, but is much more bearable than waiting on the TSC apart from her.

Thanks in advance -
Jonathan

Unless the have recently changed the rules, if she came over on a K-1 and had the
med. exam within a year of filing AOS, you do not need another medical.

Good luck!

NO new medical exam needed for K-1's.
