And the fact that I felt it necessary to stop being American?
Because I spelled differently, drove on the other side of the road, put the day before the month, did a whole host of things? Was I supposed to not do those things in the UK because I was American?
Sorry, I didn't get the manual they sent out to American Expats.....I see, so the minute I landed back on American soil, I was supposed to revert back to the things I did prior to leaving? I'm so glad you informed me of this.

I also post on a Duran Duran message board, and it makes me laugh when Americans on there use British spelling just because the band is from England.
Personally, I use US spelling when writing officially or professionally, but stick to British spelling when corresponding personally.
