Interesting new route, hope it's a big success. Still likely to be on a crappy B757 same as the EWR flight though (unless the new United redeploy aircraft across the unified fleet).

Not likely to be a 757-200 it is, the details are already in the reservation systems.

Thanks, I hadn't checked. Makes sense though. Maybe once a route "takes off" (excuse the pun) and becomes firmly established they could think about a B767.

Ooh that's handy. I'll be taking that flight.

Dulles, I hope, rather than BWI.

Edit: Yep, Dulles. Terrific.

I wish someone would fly direct to Manchester from the west coast!

Doubt it, they haven't anywhere else. You'll not catch me pond jumping on a 757, unless at the front end.

Me too, just spent 8hrs in the back of an AA 757 from MAN-JFK with no individual IFE. They offered me an upgrade for GBP380 at check-in, wish I'd taken it now. Next time I'm going BA both ways (I did an open jaw JFK-LHR MAN-JFK) even though that means having to transit LHR.

I like T5, so I often opt to take BA even if it means changing. Helps if you get to use the lounge though. Mmmmm...... BA lounge curry....

Does it contain sprouts?

On second thoughts, that's probably the last thing anybody needs before being sealed in an aluminium can for several hours.
