Mail from the White House...
 

I got a manila envelope in the mail yesterday from the White House. Uh-oh, I thought. Game's up. Time to go home...

I was joking to the other half when I said, "I hope it's not a picture of Bush"... :rolleyes: Unfortunately, I had to eat my words because that was exactly the contents of the envelope! :scared:

I now have an 8" x 10" color photo of GW himself, with the words, "Congratulations XXXX XXXXX" and his signature.

I'm seriously thinking of hanging this in one of the toilets in the house but I think even my in-laws would be offended.

Has anyone else received such a picture as a result of having become a US citizen?

Classic! I hope I get one when I become a USC (hopefully in the summer). I'll frame it and give it to the M-i-L (not the biggest fan of Dubya) to remind her that I emigrated so that she could be close to her daughter. And we gave her two grandchildren.

Actually. I never thought of that myself. I could use the pic for target practice myself when I next go to the range.. Thanks for the idea!

Is this a ploy to stop people applying for citizenship? If you become a citizen you get signed photo of GW. I tried to retract my N-400 but its too late.
