Made it!
Almost ten years to the day since I moved across here with my US born wife, last Friday I was sworn in in Orlando, as a Citizen! Hurray. I put in my N400 in May this year, it took about a month for me to get called forward for the biometrics, and then till the week before last for the interview, followed a week later, on 5th October, the ceremony. It was pretty cool. A bit cheesy in places, there were about 100 of us being sworn in from all over the world. I was the only Brit!! Just registered to vote in time, and will be applying for my passport next!

Congratulations!
I sent my N-400 on Friday and it was delivered yesterday. I won't be able to vote, but I will be free to move about the world.

I'm currently in a neverending line, waiting for my interview in Atlanta.
I sent my application on July 3rd...hopefully I'll be dome by December.
Too late to vote.... but I can wait 4 years!!

Re: Made it!
Yeah, it's definitely worth the wait. On the USCIS website, when I applied, Orlando estimated waiting time was the average, which I think is five months, but 'average' can also mean less. What is Atlanta rated as, average or longer?
