Since many ppl here are dealing with homesickness and isolation when first moving to US, i decided to start this topic to help finding new friends in your location.

Look up when and where meet ups are for one in your area. That would be a great way to start the ball rolling. Also see if there is a page in the wiki giving the number and/or nicks of where other Brits live in the US.

Believe that Chicago is still in Illinois ... unless they moved it recently.
