London Provisional File

After sending in checklist etc. to open a provisional file, does London usually let you know that it has been received and that the file has been opened. We have emailed them, but they have not yet responded. We sent the info in going on 3 weeks ago

Hi,

I filed my DS-230 on the 3rd September and received a letter telling me which police certificates I need on the 23rd September (on the bottom of the letter was the case number which has to be provisional as I have not got a NOA for the I-130 yet).
