I wonder if you really have the travelling bug out of your system? It's seems to be a major part of your life, yet your move to the US (if what you say in the first quote is correct) will put a complete stop on this. Most of us here have only 2 weeks a year vacation. Travelling abroad is a drain on valuable time off and a drain on the wallet most of us cannot afford. If you will be making ends meet here, kiss goodbye to anymore travels.
If I disclosed my earnings, or my travel schedules of previous years, I would only get another influx of abuse, accusing me of lies, arrogance, immaturity, etc. The fact is, I am free and able enough to go wherever I want, with enough spending power to sustain me for several years without worry. The funny thing is, I posed this exact same question to a private business forum I'm a member of, and the response was ENTIRELY different. The level of optimistic discrepancy could be measured in miles. I got a huge vote of confidence, stories of people who had embarked in similar quests, tips and advice. Clearly, I'm rubbing shoulders here with people who are just shy of hating life, and probably wait tables for a living. Anything out of the "norm" is worthy of scorn. But, what do I know? I'm obviously just a young kid who has had everything easy and thinks the world is roses and teddy bears! See ya. |

Thanks for your opinion. You're right, of course - which only further justifies that I'm in the wrong place to be asking these questions.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g2FhF...eature=related Except, the EB-5 visa actually *costs* that much and any talk about worldwide gallivanting intrinsically turns to money. Case in point... If you actually look at my original post, where do I mention money? Then scroll down, and you'll see where the abuse begins... |

What's wrong with waiters or anyone else for that matter who toils for a paycheck? You're the one with a shitty attitude.
What's wrong with 26 year old business owners who can afford an EB5 visa? |

When did I say it's not okay to ask questions?
Name calling + abuse + citing my situation as "immature" (despite having made enough money to even be CONSIDERING this in the first place) does not = asking questions. Tracy and a select few others asked questions. The rest of you accused me of trying to impress you, not having enough experience, or lying through my teeth. How does any of that content qualify as "questions"? The reason people are reacting this way to you is because you have asked virtually the same question that gets asked on here every week. And like virtually every other time it gets asked when the answer given is not the one you threw a tantrum. |
