Re: Live Football on TV
I know Setanta went under in the UK but are they still running in the USA?
Does Fox have an exclusive on all English football in the USA now?
Sorry to ask all these questions but we want full coverage of English, Spanish and Champions League and don't mind subscribing to multiple channels - just need to know which ones I need
Thanks!!

FSC is carrying the champions league this season, don't know about the premiership since Setanta is tits up. Maybe FSC will get the whole lot, maybe ABC/ESPN will pick up some or maybe Setanta will still keep on going here. You won't get full coverage of all the things you want but with ESPN, ABC, FSC and Gol TV you will get a lot. You may be able to pick up things on PPV as well although Setanta ran those things as well.

Re: Live Football on TV
setanta over here is different than setanta back home and will continue to show prem and championship games , fsc and setanta share epl coverage , if you get directv it has 2 setanta channels so at 10 bells on a saturday morning there will be a choice of 3 live games to watch , setanta and fsc have champions league coverage , gol tv has la liga . you get more live footy here than back home now.

Remember ESPN Deportes for the odd game here and there. They had the Wembley Cup on there over the weekend.

If you have FSC, Setanta and ESPN you have all the footy involving EPL teams that it's possible to get in the USA.

Setanta's EPL games have been picked up but I think you are buggered for watching SPL games, and that is obviously the critical factor.

Re: Live Football on TV
I am only interested in the USA.....This thread went off track when Scottish football was mentioned.
Anyway I am signing up for Verizon FiOS which will have included FSC, ESPN, Setanta, Gol TV and internet 25/15 Mbps so all is good in my home
Am I missing anything?

Re: Live Football on TV
Fox Soccer Channel
Setanta
GolTV
ESPN
ESPN2
ESPN Deportivo (if possible)
Fox Sports <Atlantic/Pacific/Midwest/etc). Sometimes...sometimes they show replays of matches during the week from FSC, just in case you didn't see it.
If you are in the DC area there are some channels part of the MHZ Networks, which includes:
France24 News
Euronews
Russia Today
Al Jazeera English
These news channels from Europe will provide some scores and highlight and occasionally some interviews from EPL and rugby and other things. I think it is part of the DC area FIOS (as MHZ Networks is based in DC) but not sure if it is part of the offerings nationwide.
