I live vaguely along the 680 corridor between Pleasanton and Walnut Creek.
I've decided that I don't want to move any further inland.
It's either go South or North, worst case stay put and see my house as probably the best investment going. Better than anything out there right now.
According to Zillow it has gone up $1300 in the last month.
