Default Lawn Mower

Grass cutting season again and I need to replace my mower that conked out on me last November.....
Does anyone know of any nationally advertised deal (maybe from Sears/Wally World/K Mart, etc) that I may have missed?
I'm in the Midwest, so I'm going to price out a few at Menards & Meijer.

I'm looking for a petrol push mower with a 21" or 22" cut for $130 or under.

Cheers for any help/recommendations.

$130 or under? thats going to be a stretch after looking at mowers recently. I just bought a Briggs & Stratton 6.5 hp push mower from Sears for $205.

My MIL gave her 'craftsman' mower to me 3 years ago. She bought it at Sears 3 years before that. Its still looks and cuts like its brand new.

Every spring I change the oil, spark plug and air filter on it, it only costs about $10 for all the stuff from Home Depot.

Sounds like a horror movie in the making. Christine ... Lawn Mower. A lawn mower with a taste for blood, local kids go missing, in the opening scene the lawn mower is heard making a weird (for a lawn mower) burping sound. Aim it at the middle/high school market. Writing this script will sure beat out hard yard work. (Did I write "yard work", OMG).

Last summer I bought a Briggs and Stratton at Wall Mart for $140, assenbled it and the damm thing wouldn't work, I took it back and got a refund, then went to Sears and bought a Craftsman for $129, works great.
It was on offer at the time so keep shopping round.

We have a Black and Decker electric mower. It works so good the neighbour borrows it every week (when its mowing season)

A friend of mine in Kent had a couple of sheep for this vary purposes.

Usually zoning in the US would be an issue if you live in Town, for some reason we are zoned Agriculture, but as it has not rained since November, probably a moot point.

The missus would love it, shear the buggers as she's into spinning, gotten pretty good at it too....not a cheap habit, but probably cheaper than buying fun yarns...hmmm...

Sounds a bit like us we have two really good mowers in our shed & both of them died at the end of last mowing season. Of course hubby was going to get them fixed over the winter ready for spring Yeah right they are both still out of commission & the lawns need mowing
Cheapest on offer at the following places are......

Sears $163
Lowes $139
Walmart $179 or $99 for an electric one. Couldnt find anything online at Menards or Home Depot but you might have luck going there in person. Didnt look up meijers either sorry about that.

Goodluck & happy mowing
