Its not just the TV, kids can download loads of terrible things from the internet also. I've had to stop my 14 year old nephew when he's been telling me some of the stuff passed around from people he knows. When I think back to the programmes I saw as a kid and the things I was exposed to and compare to the things the kids get to see now its no wonder that they have a different perspective.

I have brought this back as in the UK get the local UK news a little quicker.
The girl & parents have been convicted in relation with the original start of this thread.After a six week trial, the parents were found guilty and were given life sentences.The girl was also found guilty and sentenced to 11 years imp.The parents,both received life as said BUT will not be permitted to apply for parole for 32 years. RESULT !!

Am I the only one that read this post and feel the parents are actually to blame and not the schools??

I'm more worried about the mentality of supposed "adults" rather than the school system (which by far excels the US school system).
