Talking I have my Greencard!

After nearly a month of waiting, it finally arrived yesterday

My timeline is as follows:

Timeline as follows:
11/24/01 - Filed I-129F
11/28/01 - 1st NOA
2/20/02 - 2nd NOA
4/29/02 - Interview in London
5/8/02 - Arived in Detroit
6/7/02 - Legal Wedding
6/21/02 - Adjustment of Status (done in person in Detroit, the only place that does this. Received temp Greencard stamp).
7/25/02 - Welcome letter arrived - Greencard should arrive in 3 weeks.
7/27/02 - Welcome letter no. 2 arrived - Greencard should arrive in 3 weeks.
8/19/02 - Greencard arrived. A further copy of the welcome letter arrived (they really want to welcome me, it would seem)

Now I just need to find a job.

Wow, I need a new calendar. Mine only shows 30 days in November...I could really use
the extra time around the holidays!

Just kidding with you, best wishes! "RickQ" <[email protected]> wrote in

What kind of date is that? No wonder INS screw up, they don t have the same calendar
or is it British calendar?

    >May be it was voluntary, but you didn t need to wait for the green card to get
a job. You could have worked almost immediatly if you wanted too ( u just needed
toask for an EAD.

One day to first NOA???

One year and one day to the second NOA Plus, since it is only 08/22/02, you are in
some odd timezone
