I absolutely refuse to eat...

Re: I absolutely refuse to eat...
I'm putting my foot down on this one - Breakfast Pizza. Breakfast pizza idea is one of those things I just can't get my head around. Its just a vile greasy nastiness. I'm all for eating yesterday's pizza in theory. Not actually these days what with not eating wheat flour anymore. But breakfast pizza combines the greasy, lurid pukefest of regular pizza with the slimy, greasy puddling, chemical nastiness of cheap breakfast sausage in one offering. "Cooked in the tangiest pig sweat syringed directly out of their fat-folds. Now with added sebum!!" Except with a nice helping of rubbery cheese thrown in for good measure. There's nothing quite as repulsive as running into a gas station in the morning on the way to work and seeing people - not even smiling about it because they know what kind of a statement about their self-esteem they're making - buying a slice of this crap, and a Mountain Dew for breakfast.
But at least that isn't the vapid, pointlessness of the local Utica delicacy - Tomato Pie. Look at it. It looks like a Time Of The Month open-faced sandwich. Worse is when you are shown the sordid jam-rag-on-a-bun the locals will gush, "....It's like pizza! But without the cheese!! And it's cold!!!" As if that will somehow sway you into fisting lumps of that abortion into your mouth.

Re: I absolutely refuse to eat...
Chocolate in Australia sucks as much as Hersheys thanks to (I believe) extra whey powder which is added to stop it melting. I am partial to Reeses (nearly all other US chocolate sucks which is a shame as it's readily available here) but generally stick to Lindt or Cadbury bought at great expense at the British treat shop.

Re: I absolutely refuse to eat...
When I arrived in NZ a couple of years ago I wondered why they used rancid milk in the Cadburys chocolate here. I read a post on this thread of how they process milk used in Chocolate in America. I'm guessing it's the same in NZ.
BTW I can't bear liqorice, or anything aniseed flavoured at all - boak
Prawns in New Zealand - what went wrong ? OK, call them shrimps, I still ask - what went wrong ?
