Default I-130 and G325A Questions

I am a USC who has married a Canadian citizen. My wife is living and working in Canada until the INS paperwork goes through. I have the following questions on how to fill out the I-130 and G-325A forms that I hope you all can provide advice.

I-130.

Q#10 for me asks for my Alien Registration Number. Do I put "None" here?

Q#14 for my wife asks if she currently in the U.S.... Do I put N/A since she is in Canada? How about for Date arrived and Date authorized stay expired... more N/A or leave blank?

Q#21 - Ask for last address in which we lived together, but we have never lived together and won't until the K3 is issued. Put "None" here?

Q#22 - Complete info if your relative is in the US (she isn't) and will apply for AOS (she will, but after K3 is granted which means she'll be in the US by then. What do I put in here?

G325a.

This form is submitted in connection with application for?
Check status as permanent resident?

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

You would answer 'None' because at that point you have not received an 'A'
number.

The key word there is 'if' then 'answer' the question. Because your wife is
outside the US then you can skip that question completely. I left that
question blank as it did not apply to me and I have an approved petition. I
am only telling you what I put or didn't put down in that question.

I would put 'None - never lived together'. My thoughts anyway.

I would answer 'N/A - my wife is not in the US'.

Yes, that is the correct answer if you have an I-130 petition filed for your
wife!

Your welcome!

Wes

Any answers are from my personal experience and do not constitute legal
answers! Good luck with the process.

Because the I-130 petition is separate than the K-3, then yes, you would put
Montreal, Quebec CANADA as the consulate that will process the I-130. I
know that some of the language in this petition and many of the documents
that you will come to know are indeed confusing at best. Good luck!
