The longest we do is 72 months and we discourage that. Generally speaking, to get 72 months you have to put a reasonable sum of cash down.
For most buyers with reasonable credit and average miles, leasing is the best option.

I plan on racking up tons of miles and many years on my cars, so leasing is not an option for me.
BTW, what is considered 'average miles' in the States these days? Usually hear something from 12k to 15k a year. Right now, my nearest major towns/cities are 1, 5 and 6 hours away, which equals a lot of miles. I've done 3k in a single weekend.

Re: How often do you change your oil?
I do think changing the oil every 3,000 miles was a bit over the top.
I bought a new Audi A4 while in Houston Texas and the official handbook said that the oil had to be changed every 10,000 miles. Out of curiosity I did go to Jiffy Lube and ask - they recommended at least every 3,000 miles.
I decided to trust the Germans and changed it every 10,000 miles. Result - car ran perfectly with no problems, and the engine was perfect at all service intervals up to 50,000 miles.
Manufacturers that recommend oil changes every 10k tend to have darned good filters though! If you decide to change your oil more frequently, I'd go for good quality oil and the best filter you can buy (not a Jiffy Lube special!). That way you should be able to go at least 5k without a guilty consience.

I am doing about 1500 miles a month (I guess average for Texas!) - which means my car would never be out of the darn place.
Is this just a big rip off - or is there a good reason to change your oil every 3k miles/3 months?
