how long does it take to get the EAD

I filed the I765 in Oct, 2001(vermont center) I have not got the EAD now. I need it so much because an employer is willing to offer me a job as long as I have the work permit.

Does anyone out there know how long it takes to get it?

If you have not received the EAD within 90 days you can go in person to your local INS office and get a temporary card until the proper one shows up. I would get back to the INS as you have been waiting way longer than 90 days!
