Thanks. Yes, I'm trying to stay positive, must say my partner has been very supportive. Not sure what my plans are, considering a return to the UK, living elsewhere in the States, as California real estate has gone sky high in the last 5 years ( bad timing and luck on my behalf) or just staying put and getting on with it?? As other people have suggested you need a car, it's easy to drive in California as everything is on a grid system.

If you don't mind I'll send you a PM tomorrow as I'm dying to know where abouts in LA you are and if you're up for it I'll be more than happy to show you around. :)
I've just returned from the most wonderful weekend in San Francisco with some people we met from this site (Bored-Silly, Wintersong and Leedsgirl) so after too much booze and suffering from a stinking cold I really need to go to bed now..

It would be great to hear from you :) Trying to work out how you lot are related to eachother.
