we have cable- but rarely watch anything live (local college football games (big deal round here) superbowl, olympics, royal wedding etc, - we do dvr series like lost, downton abby and The walking dead from the cable but not very ferquently. Other stuff we get on amazon prime or netflix. I pay for netflix (stream and dvd) and my husband has amazon prime for purchases and has the side benefit of the streaming stuff (we recently bought the Game of thrones from prime to watch).
