I was totally surprised when the real estate agent who was showing me apartments in New York hugged me and kissed me on the cheek at the end of the day because I didn't know people here did that. Maybe she was just really happy to get her commission. But since I had just arrived from Geneva where people always kiss THREE times, I automatically went for her other cheek and then it was her turn to look surprised.
