Does anyone knows what is the processing time for AOS in the Houston INS office?
I just filed with my wife last week and we would like to know how long is it going to take until we hear something from them.

INS tells you that it will take about 2.5 years. But it's hard to
tell exactly. Some people got theirs faster, some slower.
I got mine approved in exactly one year after filing, though.

What kind of visa was she adjusting from ? If it was a k-1, you can
expect the interview within 3-4 months. At least that is what alot of
my friends (k-1 couples) have been experiencing in Houston since last
winter. If her visa type is something else, then you can expect a much
longer wait (even up to 2-3 years). Houston processes one of the
largest volumes of applications in the country.
