We have been here 2 years and the house prices here have not moved. But they show a +5 to +20% band.
The range is quite significant, however if all prices are in the same place in the range then it is not such an issue, would need to reseach that and also how they factor price movements.
As a guide though, very useful, just wish I had had it 2 years ago.
Also allows me to find out what houses we missed out on finally sold for, but there are ways of fudging that.
Their data base for my area seems about a year out of date, well it will take time to add new properties. I presume they take most of their info from the local tax records, some date was wrong for us, so just need to check where elese it is wrong to find out where they got it from.
I am going back into the Insurance game, yes nearly as bad as Realtors, and thsi will be a very handy resource.

Great site ....I got it from another source today as well.. LA county is really well mapped - you can travel our street watching the house prices go up as you go north. If you add in home improvements it does a recalculation. Not sure how accurate it is but after 20 months we show a 34% increase in value
