V.Quick question.
Scoured the internet for hourly temperatures in LA for a typical day across each month e.g 10am.....1pm...6pm
All i can find is Average and Max High and Max Low which isn't what I want.
Can anyone direct me or even tell me this information.
Granted LA is large so looking around Beverly Hills, Central area
I know summer is generally 20C in the morning, moving to 30 at lunchtime.
Eager to know Oct - April mostly
thanks

I've only seen average and high-low data so I doubt the data is readily available at the granularity you're looking for.
If you have the average high-low data you could work out a rough pattern, rising from the low around 6-7am in roughly 8 hourly increments to a high around 3pm, then cooling in roughly 12 steps down from around 5-6pm.
Can you tell us why you're looking for such specific data?

Wanted to know as we're bringing pets who ideally don't want hotter than 22C

Wouldn't the "high" temperature reading give you this information? If you don't want to go above 71F, you definitely don't want to be in LA, unless you're planning to keep the dogs inside with the AC cranked. And if you're going to do that, then the outside temp is irrelevant. .....

Yes exactly wanted to know typical hours it will be above 22. Heat sink is also the term I've been looking for. Completely understand and preparing for he times its above 22, will want AC on for myself and the wife anyway so should be ok. Will be fine outside of the summer months

Also what are your contingency plans if high temperatures and high power demand lead to brown-outs, which plague California from time to time, and especially during periods of high temperatures?

22c is only 71.6F, which is pretty cool to keep your home at 24/7.
Rather than cool your whole home to 22c, 24/7, you might consider an independent AC unit to cool just one room where you can leave your pets when you are out of the home yourselves.
I lived in CA for 18 months and the home didn't have AC, it was never uncomfortable.
Here in TX we run AC a lot
We have separate zones for cooling. When we are both out we only cool one part of the house, which includes a large room for the dogs with direct access to the fenced front garden through a dog door. Most of the time the dogs are basking in the sun, whilst the AC runs up my electric bill

AC bills in the summer is no more of an impact than UK central heating bills in the winter?
Temp' questions also for myself to be comfortable. Won't need to be on a night unless absolute necessary
Totally disagree that 22 is a pretty low temp.

Wanna bet? I think you're going to have a not very nice surprise. That said, I've just had a brand new heat pump installed, and our house is set to 21c from 1600 until 2300 each day. Costs around $150 pcm in Boston.
