I as far as I can see, it makes not a jot of difference where your passport application is processed. When documents can be couriered to the far side of the world in 24 hours it makes no sense for the UK to maintain dozens of passport issuing offices around the world. Or am I missing something? :confused:

You should have no issue renewing your UK passport with regards to your immigration status. But you won't be needing it, since the last thing you should be doing right now is leaving the country unless you want to activate a 10 year bar.

I can just imagine its going to be a huge paperwork bureaucratic nightmare if the world is processed through Durham. Seems like more chances / likelihood for paperwork to get lost.
I wonder if they're (Washington) still handling birth registrations? The post only covered passports as far as my skim read could tell.

Thanks everyone , i know the aos need to be first , but even now still be a few months before we get close to getting the $1500 + medical i need , its been frustrating over the years that things have happened like they have , and we doing all we can to get them sorted .

i know this is going off the passport issue but like everyone said aos comes first we save the money for them and leave the passport , and i still can use it as id +birth certificate if needed?

i know i need the i485 ,G-325A,I-693,I-864,I-765 do i need the i130 form?

An approved I-130 is the basis for the I-485.

You don't "need" the I-765, you just want it.

what do you mean ??

i thought you had to sent the I765 with the I485 , so i go for the I130 first then apply for the I485/I765 after?
