Smile Hi from Buckeye, AZ,

Hi I'm nichola and I'm 28. I was introduced to these forums by Partystar (thanks for that ).

I have recently moved over to arizona with my husband whos USAF and am now feeling lost over here.

We have been married for 6 years and have 3 children 2 boys aged 3 and 9 and 1 girl aged 5.

So far im enjoying the time over here but we will see how i feel come tomorrow, as my husband is going to korea for a year (got to love the timing on that one).

I'm already missing the simple stuff from england such as Bisto

Think that covers the basic me

Welcome Nichola. So you are a "dependent" Air Force wife huh? So was I, for years. I'm sorry your hubby has to go to Korea for a year - it can be tough on those left behind to take care of the family. But you can do it! Hang in there kiddo.

Welcome Nichola All I can say is it's better than TV on here when the kids have gone to bed, this lot helped me through more than they know while my Hub's was at Sea for 7 months, I feel for you, and Mummy has to be strong for the kids.

Welcome to BE. I know exactly how you are feeling. We moved to the States six months ago and had just moved into our new house when my husband got called away to work in Hong Kong. Part of the deal for us moving here was no more travelling. I never knew a soul and didn't know if the call me moms were genuine as it's not exactly British culture just to call somebody you just met. I felt very alone with only a four year old for company. Thank goodness for MSN.

To be honest Anabella I think it's much worse when you have kids, they dont really understand why Daddy's not around, and my heart use to break for my Son asking for his Dad so much, the worse question of all was dose Daddy still love me Mummy, I could not tell his Daddy this because I knew it would break him.
