Here we go again!

Here we go again!
So the NWS has just issued yet another bloody Winter Storm Watch for our area from tomorrow night through Wednesday for more damn snow...and ice as well this time. :curse: This is truly becoming tiresome.

I suggest you find somewhere else to live you are more suited to

I enjoy a good storm, ice or snow, once in a while....every coupla days is whats wearing me out. Having said that, last year we had a "brown" Christmas and a "white" Easter so I was probably bitchin' about that too.

I'm happy that
a) you're not over sensitive
b) you are taking it in your stride
I'm in the mid south and the weather has been really getting me down (we've only had 1 day of snow so I am pussy...)
Keep your chin up

Cheers...however its not my chin I am concerned about. With all this cold weather I am wondering if my nuts will ever come back down.

In the 7 years I have lived in Maine now I have to say without a doubt this has been the snowiest. Lot of ice in years past but this year is just all snow. Cross country skiing into April, oh yeah. You sound like a Mainah too mate all they do is bitch about snow in the winter, which confuses me as they all talk about being tough people in the winter lol makes me chuckle. Plus I wear 3 layers of clothes hehe

Think we'll break the record for snowiest winter? It's looking like we might. 90 inches in Portland before the last storm, need 107 to break the record...

Re: Here we go again!
It's not that bad, quite a mild winter...but the inlaws have around 10 feet of snow in the drive way, around 20 in total, doesn't need a ladder to climb onto the roof to clear the roof anymore, and they are expecting a handful more feet of snow during the week.
They only need another 40 inches to beat the 200 barrier up where FIL works in the woods, which should be amusing as they look like easily getting that.
Winter studs are a life saver, and so much cheaper to get and stick on motor in Maine than down here in Mass that I didn't even bother, couldn't afford new rims for the motor nor tyres, but we've a decent set of 15" tyres that have only had 2 winters worth up at the in-laws that we can't use if anyone wants them

I was in Stockton Springs, ME (close to Searsport) on Sat, visiting the in-laws. Ended up so badly snowed in, had to spend the entire day with them and never left the house.
I've just been taken off suicide watch.
