Default Help, going home to England - Passport

I am going home to England on 1st November 2010 via QM2 and I have just noticed that my passport runs out on 15th December 2010. On the booking form it states that my passport has to have 6 months validity left to travel.

Will I have problems going onto the QM2. I am a British Citizen and going home.

Please help!!! Thanks in advance.

Call Cunard to confirm but your UK PP should be OK up to the date it expires...even if it's expired as a UK citizen you cannot be denied entry.

You need to separate what Cunard wants from what UK immigration wants. As a British citizen, you can not be refused entry to the UK. Even so, both the UK and US have reciprocal agreements allowing entry up to 6 months after passport exipiry.
