Ooo .. I bought a kettle tonight! They don't seem to believe in electric kettles out here, so they?! Took quite an effort to find one, I can tell you .. Sears, Best Buy, Home Depot. Found one in Walmart in the end.

At last I can enjoy a proper, English cup of tea

I had bought 2 'cheap' ones before and they fell apart on me.

$29.87 for the GE cordless kettle

We also bought a 4 slice toaster, smoothie maker/food processor and a coffee perculator. Our Nespresso coffee machine is on the way over on the container
