Fear not - the Oz and SA stuff is good too. Just stay clear of anything that says "Made by Hershey's under License". I haven't seen Crunchies in our World Market, but they do have Double Deckers, Flake, Turkish Delight, Dairy Milk (and all of the nuts, fruit, and stuff-added versions), as well as Aero's, Yorkie bars, Hob Nobs and all sorts of stuff. Terry's Chocolate Oranges are a dime-a-dozen around here - they come under several different brand names but they're all identical from the same UK factory. I was looking around a store in Albuquerque the other week and even came across Curly Wurlys. Didn't know they still made them!

World Market here sells all that stuff. $1.29 for a crunchie, $25 for the small tin of quality street, $4.99 for the small tube of chocolate digestives and $2.50 for a tin of baked beans. **** those prices.

Krogers (around Houston anyway) have a good selection of British foods such as -

Cadburys chocolate (Dairy Milk, Crunchie, Twirl)
Aeros
Birds Custard
English Tea Bags
Heinz Beans (much better than US Pork and Beans)
Heinz Soups (can't beat their Tomato)
Branston Pickle
HP Sauce
Lucozade
Hob Nobs
Ribena
Robinsons Barley Water

all in their own little section.

Walgreens sell Cadbury's Creme Eggs (made in England). I got 3 for a $ with a coupon (sad). They are normally 59 cents.

Yummy

Chocolate is temperature sensitive, so I guess that the SA & Oz chocolate is better able to stand up to shipping and storage in NC temperatures.
