I was just wondering if anyone received an interview date from the London Consulate or if anyone received a Packet 3 and what are the procedures and timeline from the time the approval is sent from the NVC?

We were approved for the K3 last week.

I called the NVC yesterday and was told they are emailing approvals to london ours
will be emailed in 2 to 4 weeks.

And to top this off we now know our original I-130 at CSC is a week away from
approval as they are up to august 28th at CSC and ours was sept 5th

So we could be getting the I-130 after all!!!

Nope I aint heard nowt from London,All in all I have only heard of one K3 consulate
interview to date - That was Mumbai. FJ10.

John, I am a little confused, what do you mean you will be getting approval on I 130 soon? Doesn't it take up to 835 days from the time of the first NOA from CSC? Mine was dated August 27 and it said that we have to wait up to 835 days or so.

Are you also awaiting for a K-3 visa from London for your spouse?

My approval was already sent to the Consulate. I am wondering how long it will take before my husband will receive Packet from the Consulate.

I have been told that for i-130's california is up to 28th august... ours was entered
in the computer at CSC and noa'd on sept 5th.

I assume you have a noa1 etc - what was the date of that? if the 27th august was the
noa date you may be getting a suprise soon...

i am the uk side trying to get to usa. Our K3 has been approved last week. However we
believe our I-130 is going to be approved soon.

Forget the 835 days etc....that is the worst case scenario

Could you please share the details of what you know about the K3 consulate
interview in Mumbai. My wife has received a packet of forms there and is unsure
what to do next. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry - I cannot offer further advice / info on the Mumbai consulate as I have no
specific experience with that consulate - I recently read another post on a newsgroup
similar to this one (I130 helpsite) where a poster had receieved interview dates etc
for the Mumbai consulate.

The K3 was released on the 17th August - I have been wanting to see just how long it
took the INS to go through the whole process,from start to finish and to date this is
the first K3 interview that I know of.
