Correct. I was specifically answering ladygwennie, who asked about her own case of travelling back to England soon.

I should have said "international airlines/flights" to be clearer.

well if you want, you can always get the GC corrected, form I-9 I think, but it'll be about $200....the lawyer is a bit of a muppet for not knowing that though...

Or even Form I-90 ..takes about a year ...

Don't know about her being a muppet, so much as wanting to charge us for facillitating the name change in due course

All legal costs, medicals and gov fees associated with immigration are paid by my husband's employer so I suspect the lawyers go the long way round deliberately since it's a licence to print money for them.

In other news, my file date moved to current on this month's visa bulletin!! Green card is now imminent, two and a half years after first applying.

Not so sure about that.
Although you may not want to risk it in my experience the UK are only interested in your UK passport coming in, and the yanks only ineterested in the GC - I've never had both looked at by the same people at the same time.
