Default Happy Constitution Day!

Today is a Federal holiday commemorating the ratification of the US Constitution (the supreme law of the land!). It's also called Citizenship Day, to recognize all who are born or naturalized US citizens.

We were looking up a list of days the flag should be flown (DH has a monster display now) and came across this one, which I didn't know about.

So, big high fives to all my fellow citizens today! Will there be cake???

Wow, I've never heard of Constitution Day! Would have flown the flag if I'd known.

It has been known...

I nearly caused an incident by laughing when someone from my new family to be told me they had been "baking" and I discovered this meant pouring canned-fruit into a factory made pastry shell and heating it up in the microwave

Hey, I'm learning that micro-baking can be tasty and is a whole lot less time consuming!
I still enjoy making stuff from scratch if I can find the time though

Have you seen those tv ads for the giant silicone cupcake mold? It's like 25 times bigger than a normal one. Oh, here's the link to it:

Un-friggin-believable!!!
