not that I am in the US but Asda and other supermarkets started selling xmas stuff approx 3 weeks ago Not that it encourages people to buy early cos the last couple of days for xmas you can't even park in the car parks as many people think they are going to starve over the couple of days the shops are shut

I know that in the UK it isn't uncommon for the supermarkets to start getting Xmas stock into the warehouse August. I used to work in retail & we used to swear that on Christmas eve if you put a reduced sticker on a bit of chewing gum on the floor someone would buy it. And then what would make us really mad is people complaining that we weren't open on Xmas day or Boxing day (HELLO the workers are human, we're entitled to a Christmas as well).

If it makes you feel better, there's a woman down the road who's had five advent wreaths on her front door for at least a year. Two of them finally came down last month (or maybe the'yre just being weatherized).

Tis the season to be jolly...tralalalaalalala. Merry christmas everybody!

Except you cant say that here. You have to say "Happy Holiday". I got into trouble last year for saying merry christmas.

And yes Bob, Xmas gets earlier every bloody year. Here and in the UK. Keeerrrr-ching!

Costco has had their decorations for sale since the middle of last month and I walked into Fry's grocery store this week to be confronted by a large aluminated snowman. The best part about Christmas here, is most of the radio stations play Christmas music all day every day from the day after Thanksgiving to just after Christmas day. Oh the joy!

Here's a question....if Jesus was still alive, would he celebrate his Birthday and Christmas separately, you know separate wrapping paper or would he get them all in one go, bit of a pisser really. But there again if he was still alive, would we have easter eggs?
