The Sandwich Islands
On his third voyage of discovery, Captain James Cook of Great Britain visited the Hawaiian Islands and named them the Sandwich Islands in honor of his friend and supporter, John Montague, the 4th Earl of Sandwich and first lord of the Admiralty. Though Cook found Hawaii an excellent reprovisioning stop, it's not likely this included "sandwiches".

An amazing place, often used for making Western and Sci-Fi movies, not to mention a lot of Porn in the thousand of hidden little anchorages and beaches.

speaking of the google maps, here's a story about the fad if anyone's interested:
Surprises Lurk in Satellite Snaps -
For many years, Mike Leeds has been road-tripping from his home in Portland, Oregon, to Nevada's Black Rock Desert for the Burning Man arts festival.
So last week, when Google announced its new Maps service, which includes the ability to view and navigate with high-resolution satellite images, Leeds couldn't resist tracing his 500-mile route, one screen at a time, to see what he drives by on his annual round trip. He never expected that the last of his "45 miles to the click" route images would show, in great detail, the early setup of Burning Man. ...

Manc,
I spent valuable work time on my entry, where's the result already?........... Or is Paul too busy in the Vatican deciding who the next pope should be?
