Default Going Home

Just booked a flight on Orbitz for Thanksgiving weekend, I thought it was pretty cheap.
$438 (total) from Detroit - Manchester via Frankfurt.

seems there are some good prices out there right now.

Lucky for you, you live on the East Coast. Our trip next year (although in June) is going to be a pretty costly for 3 people flying from the West Coast.

Anyway, have a great time, Manc!

I have been back to the UK in November for the last couple of years...always good prices to be found this time of year. Hope you have a good time.

Have a great trip.

We are having visitors from England arriving at Thanksgiving and they were surprised at the good deal they got as well.

Bloody hell that's cheap Manc! How much would it have been to go direct, though? Frankfurt's quite a bit out of the way...

Have a good trip!

well it would have cost a shitload going direct as there are no flights Detroit - Manchester............and it would cost a bomb to charter my own plane.

LOL OK so I obviously had no clue there weren't any direct flights to Manchester. Just drive round to Chicago and fly direct from there.

Not bad - I backed my crimbo flights a while back for $450 but the prices don't seem to have gone up by much since I booked.

True. I recently booked Boston-Heathrow return for $422 for late November. Work-related trip for 10 days, but have already booked every single night out with friends as well as a cheeky weekend trip to Belgium. Can't wait!!
