Default Getting my friend over here, any advice?

After living in Houston, TX for a year now, my friend and I have been talking seriously about the possibility of her coming over to live & work for maybe 6 months to a year. Does anybody know of any good programs or schemes that would provide such an opportunity?

She isn't the most qualified person in the world, so would hardly be sought out for a H1-B, etc. I'm just thinking along the lines of a temporary coaching program, volunteer work in Houston, etc.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance for any help!!

Well that's out of the question, lol, but thanks anyway. I just figured there would be some sort of Camp America, soccer scheme, or something that would allow her to come over for 6 months - 1 year and enjoy Houston. Figured this forum would be an excellent first port of call before googling.

Actually you don't have to take a job in a camp etc. with BUNAC you can take any job you want. I came over two summers on a BUNAC and got a great job in a manufacturing plant one summer and a printing shop the next doing work that looked great on my resume. I went through a technical temp agency, pay was decent too.
