Re: Getting British TV in the US
Eurobox and Britbox seem to be winners! I don’t have internet on my tv which is annoying.. I’ll probably have to get a Roku stick but they are on sale right now. There’s a British section on Hulu with Blackadder, Doc Martin etc but I do miss my Eastenders lol. Soap Operas over here are terrible.. British ones might be terrible too but I guess I’ve just got used to them 😂
My sister got my wife into Love Island and she cannot stop watching it. I have to translate what some Geordies say as she can’t understand them.. I usually plug into a laptop and watch the footy!

really wonder how legit it is, the annual cost is hardly more than a uk TV licence, so how can it work financially? The BBC go to great lengths to prevent iPlayer from working when you are not in the uk. Even britbox, which is a legitimate service from BBC and ITV doesn't provide live stream of channels.

I've looked, didn't find that info. Can you copy and paste it here?
Although replying to, but obfuscating the answer to my question, does look a bit dodgy in itself.

overplay.net I have been using it for a few years now without problems.
I've been using two different VPNs which worked fine with BBC iPlayer until recently, I'm still able to get itv; channel 4 and channel 5 but no BBC.

Download the app called mobdro. Download works on android and search for mobdro apk, once in your phone you can mirror to Sony tv or use the Samsung connector to your phone then to any smart tv with USB .. You will have any channel at your finger tips. Fiber optic broadband recommended...

I had to switch VPN a couple of times recently to get iPlayer working again. I've now settled on NordVPN for $3.99 per month. It works with BBC iPlayer, ITV Player, Channel 4OD & Demand5. I can't be missing my Formula 1, GoggleBox, Q.I., Mock the Week, Neighbours, and Home & Away

F1 is on ESPN, QI and Mock the Week are available through Britbox (or other means ) and it's a relief not to get Aussie cr@p soaps!

Ah but you can't get ESPN & Britbox for $3.99 a month. I don't have any cable subscriptions, nor do I intend to (as I'll be traveling around next year). Plus I like Steve Jones & David Coulthard on the F1. Although I'm going to have to sort something different for next year now that Ch4 has lost the rights.
