Get Off Yr Arses & Archive Yr Experiences
A poster wanted into on AOS interviews in South Carolina. Lo and behold only TWO, count 'em TWO people wrote their response for the official experience pages.
Come on people ... you came to the NG, got all the help you asked for and should at least post your experience for the future newbies.
Don't just post it to the NG ... post your AOS, K-1, I-130 interview experiences at:
http://www.kamya.com/interview/intro.html

I agree. If it wasn't for the experiences posted on the internet and the
excellent help from the newsgroup I'd have found it a darn sight harder to go
through the process.
Do it here :- http://www.kamya.com/interview/intro.html and here:-

It only took me 20 mins to fill out my experiences at Newark a small price to pay for all the help and comfort that reading other peoples experinces gave me...

You sound like you're from the Maritimes! Haven't heard that term from anybody born
west of Amherst.
"Ok!, Ok!", he said, with his usual big city paranoia. "I'll post what I can
remember!" Then he, like a blind child in the dark streets, felt and fumbled his way
over to the electron chalkboard and began slowly etching his story...

Yes, I agree with Rita. I venture to say that less than one third of everyone here
(past or present) would not have had "smooth sailing" had it not been for the many
"alumni" who posted their experiences prior to their own quest for positive outcomes
for our foreign fiances or spouses (Myself included.) I readily admit to study,
research, and reading extensively from many website resources and several of the ones
mentioned above did my husband and I a world of service. Personally, I'm indebted to
a few websites from whom I've benefitted the most. (Jonathan, Alvena, and Google.)
I've posted my I-129F, POE, and AOS experiences now and will certainly post my I-751,
N-400, N-600 experience for the future.
Much appreciation! Omo.

It's here smartie:
http://www.kamya.com/interview/intro.html
as is "our" EAD/AP synopsis.....
Is there a reason why NO one has this site on there "tailcoats" (that string of "associated sites that follows their reply)?

Probably because there are very few regulars left around that are even familiar with the FAQ page and the associate spin-offs. Alvena promotes her former site which is an excellent source of information. Jonathan is here spordically, as is Mike. So that leaves me with the tail which only appears to those that view using expats. It doesn't show up I understand on google.

Shows up fine for me - which is why I assumed it was showing up fine for
everyone now....

Maybe it does now because expats upgraded their software/format. But people previously were complaining that I would refer them to a URL after my signature and there were no URL's

YOu might be surprised. I thought Houston was making an effort to speed up the AOS process for K-1 recipients. Have a search on google for "houston" and see what you come up with.
