FYI: NSC update, heading for K1 Fiancee Visa
Hi there,
Just to let people know, my American fiance called the Nebraska Service Centre yesterday, and they are dealing with petitions from 11 April at the moment. Ours is from May 20, so they reckon that should be getting dealt with in 3-4 weeks. I also emailed the embassy in London, as I have already sent them my Packet 3 back. They said that when they get the approved petition from Nebraska, they will send a letter with an interview date in 2-3 weeks.
Hope this is useful,
D.

More BS! they spew. I dont buy it will be 3-4weeks before they hit May 20th considering the fact someone with a May 15th notice date has already been approved. As long as they keep gettin petitions processed it shouldnt take too much longer before they hit mid May. I hope...

Considering that they were working on 'April 22nd' for about a month, then went back
to April 8th... and now are on April 11th. Did it really take them 3 weeks to
process 3days? Hmmm......
Hey! Here is a way to protest. Everyone send a shiney new CALENDAR to the INS office
in Nebraska. Send it to the Office of the Director .
I talked to a misinformation officer about people in May being processed and she siad
that they were 'lucky'.
Obviously they do not process the petitions 'in the order received'. I dont think we
can use people who have recently been processed or what the misinformation officer
says to indicate where they are (Outside of 'April-May' timeframe).
Well, I hope you get yours soon :-) Good Luck!

Mine is the 23rd of May, so I'm right there with you. I keep telling myself
patience, but it's hard when no-one knows what's going on.
