Also, she's an idiot. A green card is NOT proof of LPR, their internal systems is PROOF. The physical green car (or stamp) is just to help foreign arilines and initial POE officers see your probably a PR. If you lost your card or passport with stamp in it, you WILL go through scrutiny when entering the USA but 99.999% of the time, will pass and be let in. She should have burnt her card, claimed it was lost and applied for a new one.
