Default Food Processors

Does anyone have a decent food processor they could recommend?

All the ones I've seen over here seem to be pretty rubbish compared to ones back home. I mainly want one that's good at grating cos I'm fed up of doing it by hand. I already have a mixer so I'm not too bothered about the cake making side of things.

Thanks

Lindsey

I've not tried it yet, but we just saw that WalMart has a cordless grater- ie for cheese and such for appx $23. Came with 3 grating mesh sizes.

Don't have a food processor but if I were looking for one, I'd read reviews on the following two sites at least:

www.epinions.com
www.consumerreports.org (you might need to get membership of some sort to get full access to reports. Your local library probably has hard copies of the monthly mag and you may be able read a report on food processors that way).

Best of luck!

Anything by Cuisinart seems to be the dog's bollocks.
