Good comment. And something that should be remembered when pointing fingers.

Pointing fingers I am talking about British people in British schools.
You would have expected us to learn about Irish history/politics, it is pretty local after all.

I too didnt really give the IRA a thought until they bombed Harrods the day I was visiting the Natural History Museum as a child

Yep, there's a guy at work who is convinced that Global Warming is just a liberal myth, and there is nothing to worry about. He is also a staunch GWB supporter and cannot see why some people might not like him. It takes all sorts.

I'm not suprised they're from redneck county, Chattanooga, having been there myself.

Few issues with what they had to say

1. They can't understand why UK colleagues slam GWB(j)
2. They think the UK is anti-american
3. They think Bill C was the biggest piece of crap.
4. Didn't know the IRA were terrorists
5. Think the crap US economy is purely Bill C's fauly
6. Think GWB will learn from tony B to be a great orator
7. CNN = clinton news network and fox news is the only one to watch

these people are financially successful, both with degrees

my only comment is to say that to #6 you can't make a silk purse......

I'm still in shock and the wine has not lessened it at all
