first time to home since green card

hi all,
I am planning to go to my home country first time after i got my green card. What documents do i need for my departure? how long can i stay home ? anythin that needs to be taken care/afraid of ?

When I went home the first time all I took was my passport and my
green card. I didn't have a problem whatsoever.
