Well, you had enough interest to ask me for my views, albeit in a dismissive manner.

You could have asked me that one question in the last sentence and you could have saved quite a bit of typing. See post #9 for some answers to your question.

I don't have a "vested interest in Britain" but I most certainly do in America.


I've a vested interest in both countries....so its hard for me to understand why you want to be here, especially with no connection to Britain.

No - here for a few years then back home. Its a great location although I've really liked the other parts of the US I've visited.

I don't see it like that I'm afraid. I find the cynacism and sarcasm funny - I guess its a Brit thing, although having said that most of my work colleagues find it funny too.
