Don't know about Walls, but Costco had some very nice pork sausages that were reminiscent of English bangers.

You can get frozen British sausages in Fiesta if you have one near you.

But that isn't the Mexican based Fiesta supermarket chain is it?

Yep. They have British Bacon, black pudding and sausages if you are lucky.

Walls sausages? You miss Walls sausages?

I think it was Smith and Jones who once said "Walls - just about the only thing that's not in them..." ;)

Try the English Pork Pie Company - http://www.englishporkpiecompany.com...FQ1ggwod0TXZCQ :D

You say you're in Texas...

If you're in Austin, try Boomerangs for awesome sausage rolls (as well as pies) and The Noble Pig for excellent sausages....

Nothing will quite ever match a proper British one... but these two are close.

Trader Joes do a lovely pork banger, till end of the month at least because of St Patricks Day.

In general I find that Trader Joe's are pretty good, but I'm German and the sausage taste there is slightly different from the UK.

l've been trying for years to find a decent sausage in the US but it's a lost cause as far as l'm concerned. I've tried various places that supposedly sell "British sausages" ,including from a company that claims to be British with a facility to make sausages in the US...going by the taste of them..they'd never actually tasted a british banger, they were utter garbage ! Most of the so called british sausages look the part but that's where the resemblance ends ! Other people may like them, but to me,none of them even come remotely close to a Walls sausage. I find the taste of the small sausages, that are imported from Ireland such as Winstons,Shannon,Galtee are not too bad,but the stuff they make over here is just abyssmal !

The search goes on (but l'm not holding my breath !)

I agree with Wintersong here - Walls sausages have so much crap in them, usually referred to as "plastic sausages" in our house. Aren't they about £2 for 6 or 8 in the UK? Personally I'd rather pay £2 each for a proper sausage! I miss the "sausage shop" in Tunbridge Wells - that place was heaven. The Irish Bangers in Wholefoods/Trader Joes aren't too bad especially with wholegrain mustard.

Think this link says its all:
