We had a pair of old buggers on Ushited from ORD-BDL last Thursday. They were as good as gold and maybe the best FAs I'd seen on a US domestic flight - it was like having your favourite grandparents looking after everyone on the plane. I was both surprised and impressed.

You weren't in cattle class though were you? Flying Bus or 1st class is like flying with a totally different airline to flying economy. In economy they more or less throw the drinks at you...in Bus class they ask if I would like my Grand Marnier warming. :)

I'm not going to argue with you...I'm just telling you that I have every pilots license and rating known to man..Private, Commercial, CFI, CFII, Multi engine, ATP and instrument ratings...
I've also flown with some very competent female pilots and knew one who had only one arm but was still able to out-fly able-bodied pilots. She was legendary around PamAm at MEM. I heard that Kittyhawk was a pretty crappy outfit. We had a few guys go there just before they folded. I believe Kalitta rescued them later. |

Got all that too and still employed in the industry after 13yrs. Are you or are you one of the 10,000 unemployed pilots out there?

The pilot license thing was a load of old bollocks, and he was let go before I had a chance to catch him out on another thread :D He probably just googled the 727 and then googled another airline that used them in the 2000s after I tried to trip him up on his type rating! |

Re: Elderly Flight Attendants
I flew with CityJet last week from Dundee to London. The flight was only an hour and a half on a tiny commuter plane but they fed you and gave out free alcohol!

oops, forgot, banned him again, so he can't reply anymore. I guess we shouldn't taunt. |

Dude... you shouldn't mess with the mota over the border, do you know they don't feed you in prison down there?
But, if you do make it back, bring me a bag of Hot Nuts, the lime & chili ones? And a tube of Vitacilina.. that stuff cures everything. |
