Easter Hols
Can anyone advise on somewhere hot for a holiday at the end of March/beginning of April? Needs to have a good beach, good seafood, kayaking, snorkelling and preferably use the dollar as its currency.
I'm meeting my American guy there, so would be good if it was reasonably cheap to get to from California and London! Know this might have some effect on costs of a package deal, but was wondering if meeting in Miami/New York/somewhere in U.S. might be a more cost effective way to do it (and give me a chance to abuse the weak dollar and do some shopping!) Any recommenations of good tour companies/websites in the U.S. would also be appreciated!
Hoping this way it will actually seem like a proper holiday, its such hard work visiting respective countries coz we seem to spend half the time doing the relatives/friends meet and greet!
Thanks!

Blimey I should hope so at $675 a night! Antigua looks gorgeous though. Thanks!

If you are thinking of flying into Miami, try the Florida Keys. Key Largo and Key West have Snorkelling and the rest of the keys have some lovely beaches. Try putting Florida Keys AND snorkeling into a search engine.

Hi,
Try this link to the official web site for the Florida Keys, described as the dive capital of the world. I highly recommend the Keys for snorkeling, sea food, good beaches, and just about everything you have asked for. Nice weather at Easter and the sea is warming up by then.
Have a nice vacation

The Fl Keys come to mind straight away.
Try looking at the Marathon area of the Keys for something between the commercialised Key Largo and party central of Key West.
We last stayed in Marathon in the Bonefish Resort. This has various apartments with different prices to suit everyones pocket. Small, family run and very clean.
There were also some great sea food restaurants together with nice beaches in the area. Also being pretty much in the middle of the Keys it wasn't as busy as the beginning or the end of the island system.
Have fun!

Sounds good, I went when I was a kid, but we're talking nearly 20 years ago now!
